MacBook Air Repair in Brisbane — Authorised Mac Service
As an Apple Authorised Service Provider and an Apple Authorised Reseller for more than 17 years, we know your product.
We have technicians that predate our store and the Apple Store in Australia, and have hands on technical experience with Apple computers that cover EVERY SINGLE model Apple has released. While that does not mean everything is repairable, we are in an unparalleled position to give you the best advice regarding your repair or possible replacement and data recovery if necessary.

Battery Service
We can replace your Mac battery for a fee. Apple warranty doesn’t cover batteries that wear down from normal use.
Your product is eligible for a battery replacement at no additional cost if you have AppleCare+ and your product’s battery holds less than 80 percent of its original capacity.

Screen Repair
We replace cracked MacBook Display’s for a fee. Accidental damage isn’t covered by the Apple warranty.
Display repairs are eligible for coverage for accidental damage from handling with your AppleCare+.

Multiple Issues
Data Recovery Needed
Apple now has a service centre in Sydney and repairs taken to the Apple Store are, for the most part, repaired in Sydney with a two-week turnaround.
All repairs at Geekworks are repaired in our store often within 2 days.
Parts are ordered same day and arrive the next day, call us for specific details about your repair.
No appointment is necessary for repairs.
Do you have AppleCare+?

Your country or region offers AppleCare+ for this product. AppleCare+ includes battery service coverage, which means your battery can be replaced at no charge if we test your product and its battery retains less than 80% of its original capacity. AppleCare+ also provides coverage for accidental damage from handling, and each incident is subject to a service fee.
Common MacBook Air faults we fix
From the wedge-shaped Intel models to the latest fanless Apple silicon Air, we’ve had hands on every MacBook Air Apple has made. A few issues we see on the Air in particular:
- Swollen battery — common on the 2018–2020 Intel MacBook Air; a swelling battery can lift the trackpad or bulge the base. We fit a genuine Apple replacement.
- Butterfly-keyboard keys sticking or repeating — a known issue on the 2018–2019 Air. We’ll tell you whether it’s covered and sort it with genuine parts.
- Running hot or throttling — the M1/M2/M3/M4 Air is fanless, so overheating is almost always a software or battery issue rather than a fan fault. We diagnose the real cause instead of guessing.
- Cracked screen or liquid spill — the two most common accidental-damage jobs, and usually covered by AppleCare+. Spilled something? Read this first.
- Won’t charge or MagSafe not connecting — anything from a failed charger to a board-level fault; we test the whole chain before quoting.
We service every MacBook Air — 11-inch, 13-inch and 15-inch, Intel and Apple silicon (M1 through M4).

Common MacBook Air repair questions

Always. Because we’re Apple Authorised, every repair uses genuine Apple parts and keeps your warranty intact — unlike unauthorised repairers whose imitation parts can void it.
Most repairs are completed in-store within about 2 business days, with parts ordered same-day and arriving the next. Some repairs take longer where Apple requires the device be sent to Sydney — we’ll tell you up front.
