We have technicians that predate our store and the Apple Store in Australia, and have hands on technical experience with Apple computers that cover EVERY SINGLE model Apple has released. While that does not mean everything is repairable, we are in an unparalleled position to give you the best advice regarding your repair or possible replacement and data recovery if necessary.
All iPad repairs require a whole unit replacement, regardless of the repair type.
This typically means we will have a replacement unit arrive the next day, however in some cases, further testing may be required and may take up to 5-7 business days to receive a replacement.
Please ensure you have a backup of your device data.
This can be done through iCloud backups on the device. We cannot recover data from devices that do not power on.

Battery Service
We can service the battery in your iPad or Apple Pencil for a service fee. Apple warranty does not cover batteries that wear down from normal use. We will test your iPad to see if it has a battery issue or a different power issue.
Your product is eligible for a battery replacement at no additional cost if you have AppleCare+ and your product’s battery holds less than 80 percent of its original capacity.

Screen Repair
If your iPad has screen damage, we can service it for a fee. Accidental damage is not covered by the Apple warranty.
Screen damage is eligible for applicable coverage for accidental damage from handling with your AppleCare+ plan.

Multiple Issues or Other Damage
Multiple issues or other damage may require further testing and may take longer to receive a replacement device. This can take from 5 to 7 business days.
Software and Backup
Charges may apply to any software restore or data backup support.
Apple now has a service centre in Sydney and repairs taken to the Apple Store are, for the most part, repaired in Sydney with a two-week turnaround.
All repairs at Geekworks are repaired in our store often within 2 days.
Parts are ordered same day and arrive the next day, call us for specific details about your repair.
No appointment is necessary for repairs.
Do you have AppleCare+?

Your country or region offers AppleCare+ for this product. AppleCare+ includes battery service coverage, which means your battery can be replaced at no charge if we test your product and its battery retains less than 80% of its original capacity. AppleCare+ also provides coverage for accidental damage from handling, and each incident is subject to a service fee.
